Overview

Bentonite is a natural clay mineral with a distinctive light brown color. While most minerals turn white or off-white after crushing and grinding, bentonite is the only mineral that retains its brown color — a signature of its unique clay-rich composition.

Satellite Chem India offers many varieties of bentonite: cattle feed grade, oil & drilling grade, construction grade, and iron ore pelletizing bentonite powder.

Packaging is fully customizable — 25 KG bags, 50 KG bags, 1 ton jumbo bags, liner jumbo bags and liner PP woven sacks, with or without printing, as per customer requirements.

Key Features

  • High gelling time — high strength in less mulling time
  • Maintains pH value and clay content
  • Thixotropic properties for deep drilling
  • Natural viscosity and elasticity
  • High absorption capacity
  • Custom packaging: 25 KG / 50 KG / 1 ton jumbo bags

Applications

Where this mineral goes to work.

01

Foundry

Cost-effective high gelling — high strength with good compatibility in less mulling time.

02

Oil & Drilling

Retains thixotropic properties with crude oil at high temperature; maintains drilling pressures and yield.

03

Cement & Construction

Viscosity and elasticity for Portland cement and horizontal drilling support.

04

Animal Feed

High calcium, strong bonding, low pH — keeps animals healthy and dries feed.

05

Paper

Gelling properties accelerate pulp formation for faster paper production.

06

Agriculture

Holds water, maintains soil pH, boosts microbial activity and protects plants from viruses.

07

Cosmetics

Silica-free, high absorption, low pH — absorbs impurities and oil for glowing skin.

08

Paint & Ceramics

Gelling agent bonding with paint additives; gives proper shape to tiles.
